Economic growth and government expenditure – evidence of Wagner’s Law in some EU countries

The article provides an empirical assessment of Wagner's Law for Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Belgium, Austria, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Luxembourg, Finland, Iceland and Norway. relationship between growth rates GDP per capita government expenditures period from first quarter 1999 to second 2017 was modeled using autoregressive ARDL method Bounds test. According results obtained, law confirmed Bulgaria while it did not find support other countries. This is further by attached Granger causality
